Marvelous May 2013

UGH! Sometimes I wonder if I'm just too far behind to even try to keep up any more! *sigh*
After my birthday, which was relatively uneventful, May was kind of a random month, full of soccer, field days and building things.
Here are my sweet teacher gifts from my sister...
Love her! : )
Then there was Nate playing some soccer and scoring the one and only goal his team had the entire spring season.
Here he is lain' it down to block the goal... cutie!
Here's Nathan's Optimus Prime Transformer that he got for Christmas--he finally figured out how to get the whole thing together--and without an engineering degree--it was a miracle!!!!
Here's  the model of the Titanic Nathan made from his Treo blocks--he's totally into the Titanic--and I thought it was weird when Alan went through this phase--go figure!!
Here's the rocket that Nathan constructed at the Ward Memorial Day picnic. I could not believe how far it flew--maybe he will be an engineer some day!!
Finally, Nathan's sidewalk chalk drawing of, guess what......
yup, the Titanic (might also be the Olympic, one of Titanic's sister ships--I can't quite remember!
Last, but certainly not least, field day!!! Here's Nathan in the egg carry...OK, maybe it was the egg carry, drop, pick it up, carry it some more, drop it again, pick it up.....you get the idea! It was still fun! : )
I love field day!! I was lucky enough this year to get to go to 2!! : ) They had one for the 6th graders at Ferguson! I was so excited. Here's Scott with his team at one of the events.
And then, my one and only picture of Alan for the month--a new haircut!! : ) I just love it when he comes to me and says, "Hey Mom, can you cut my hair?" Absolutely!!! Don't move, let me get the clippers!!! So handsome!!
I'm such a lucky Mom!!!!!!!!!! : )
June's next up.....
